The SIAFRA standard
The product should carry the proof.
SIAFRA is built around a simple rule: disclose what a piece is made from, test what matters, and distinguish a target from a result.
- 01State what it is
- Base metal, finish and construction belong on the product page. No vague language in place of a specification.
- 02Test the finished piece
- Every promise is tested against finished samples. If a sample falls short, the piece changes before launch.
- 03Publish the result
- A claim becomes evidence only when the test is complete. Reports will appear with the first production run.
- 04Keep the terms clear
- Care, returns and the guarantee will be written before orders open, in language that is easy to use.
Current status
Samples are holding their finish through real-life evaluation, supplier reports are in hand, and testing scopes have been requested from U.S. laboratories. The promise is already clear: a considered jewelry uniform, backed by “If it fades, we’ll trade.”
