We collect your email address and the product preferences you choose so we can plan the first run and tell you when SIAFRA launches. We use two session cookies to count visits and remember attribution, and we do not track you across the web.
1. What we collect
Your email address, when you submit an access form. We also store the product choices, ring size, shipping region, interest in a three-piece uniform, form context and three-piece set preferences you choose, plus the date and time you submitted them. We record how you arrived — the campaign tags on the link you followed, the site that referred you, and the first page you landed on — so we know which channels are working.
No name, street address or payment details. Your IP address is held in memory for about a minute to rate-limit the form against bots, and is never written to our database.
2. What we do with it
We use your selections to plan inventory and email you when SIAFRA launches. The launch email includes an unsubscribe link. We do not sell your information, rent it, or share it for anyone else's marketing, and we will not add you to anything you did not ask for.
We keep your address until you ask us to delete it, or twenty-four months after launch, or until we abandon the project — whichever comes first.
3. Cookies and analytics
We use two cookies, and only these two. One holds a random number that tells one visit apart from another. The other remembers how you arrived — the campaign tags on the link you followed and the site that referred you — so we can tell which channels bring people who join the waitlist, rather than only which bring visitors. Neither holds your name, your email or anything about you personally, neither can be read by any script, and your browser deletes both when you close it. They cannot recognise you tomorrow, or anywhere else on the web.
We keep a record of the pages people view. Automated traffic, meaning search engines, AI crawlers, link previewers and scanners, is separated out and kept only as a daily tally of which software fetched which page. Nothing about a person is in that tally. Each record holds the page, the site that referred you, any campaign tags, your country, region and city, and whether you are on a phone, tablet or computer. Your IP address is never stored — the location comes from our host, and the address itself is discarded with the request. If you join the waitlist, we connect that visit to your signup, which is the point of keeping our own count at all.
We also use Vercel's cookieless analytics to count page views, page speed and interactions with our jewelry styling tool, such as starts, completions, saves, product clicks and usefulness feedback. Styling events may include the selected neckline, occasion, outfit detail, metal and comfort preferences, the number of jewelry shapes selected, and the look or adjustment chosen. For Styling Notes, we also count article views, checklist visibility, checklist downloads, share actions and waitlist-link clicks, with the article and bounded campaign labels. Checklist visibility does not prove the guide was read. We do not send an email address with these events. Styling answers are held in page memory and are cleared when you reload or leave the tool; saved styling notes are downloaded to your device. If you enable virtual try-on, your camera feed and face, hand or body landmarks are processed locally in your browser and are not uploaded, used to identify you or stored by SIAFRA. No microphone access is requested. The camera stops when you stop it, leave the page or hide the browser tab. Images are saved to your device only when you choose Save this look. We count camera starts, successful loads, stops, errors, design selections, saves and product clicks; these events contain no images or tracking landmarks. It records the page, the referring site, and coarse details like country and device type. It does not build a profile of you or follow you elsewhere.
If you would rather not be counted, blocking cookies for this site is enough: without them we cannot tell your second page from someone else's first, and nothing else about the site changes.
4. Who else touches it
Three service providers, each bound to use it only for the service they provide us: Vercel, which hosts the site and provides the analytics above; a managed Postgres provider, which stores the waitlist; and an email provider, once we have one, to send the launch email. We may also disclose information where the law requires it.
5. Your choices, and how to reach us
Ask us what we hold, have it corrected, have it deleted, or tell us to stop emailing you — email hello@siafra.com and we will do it within 30 days, usually the same week. Depending on where you live you may have no statutory right to any of this. We offer it anyway; it is one row in a table.
SIAFRA is a trading name of Majumder LLC, a limited liability company. This site is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If this policy changes we will update the date above, and email you first if the change affects information you have already given us.
